The Women in Economics Initiative Mentoring Programme 
The Women in Economics Initiative set up the Mentoring Programme to empower the next generation of young economists by connecting them in a structured setting. This is a 10-month program starting each October. 

Successfully Navigating Your Economics PhD: A Mentoring Workshop for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and Higher Year Women/Non-Binary Economics PhD Students 
Organized by Brianna Halladay, Orgul Ozturk, and Olga Shurchkov, this workshop is held the day prior to the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Southern Economic Association (SEA) will take place from November 22 through November 24 in Tampa, FL. 

The Association of Mentoring and Inclusion in Economics 
The Association for Mentoring and Inclusion in Economics (AMIE) is dedicated to fostering academic and professional growth among Ph.D. students in economics. Initiatives are designed to provide all participants with the tools and support necessary to excel in their academic and career pursuits.  Activities include skill-building workshops, mentorship opportunities, peer support networks, and wellness events.

Berkley/Sloan Summer School in Environmental and Energy Economics - August 18-22, 2025 in Berkeley, CA
The goal of the summer school is to provide doctoral students enrolled in a North American PhD program who have completed the core first year microeconomics and econometrics requirement with an overview of the most important and current topics in various areas of the fields of environmental and energy economics. Previous incarnations of this summer school have helped first-year students identify promising dissertation projects. The instructors' expertise covers a range of important topics. 

NBER Graduate Training Seminars
Periodically, the NBER offers graduate student training seminars in a variety of fields.

University of California President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 
The University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program was established in 1984 to encourage outstanding women and minority PhD recipients to pursue academic careers at the University of California. The current program offers postdoctoral research fellowships, professional development, and faculty mentoring to outstanding scholars in all fields whose research, teaching, and service will advance the research excellence and public service missions University of California.

Sadie Collective 
The Sadie Collective aims to bring together people from underrepresented backgrounds at different stages of their academic and professional careers in economics and related fields to share resources, network, and advocate for broader visibility.
