AEA Election Opens on Friday, August 1

On Friday, August 1, 2025, you will receive an electronic invitation to vote in the AEA's annual election of officers for 2026. Paper ballots will NOT be mailed this year. The electronic invitation will be sent on behalf of the AEA by Intelliscan, Inc., an independent election services provider with which the AEA has contracted. Please add aea@intelliscanvotes.com to your safe senders list. Casting your vote or choosing to opt out electronically will prevent further reminders.

You will have an opportunity to suggest candidates for future officer elections, Distinguished Fellows, Foreign Honorary Members, and Distinguished Lecturers. The AEA leadership encourages you to consider diversity across various dimensions such as institution, race, gender, employment sector, and geographic location when nominating individuals. We aim to ensure representation from our entire membership.
