Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (Committee) is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization devoted to educating policymakers, the media and citizens about the fiscal challenges facing the country, as well as policy options and solutions.
The Committee is seeking an AI and Fiscal Policy Fellow for a one-year fellowship who would be responsible for helping build a body of research and analysis examining the intersection of artificial intelligence, the federal budget, and the U.S. economy. The fellow will seek to answer questions including: How will potential economic growth from AI affect federal revenues? How will AI’s effects on the workforce impact federal spending, including existing or new forms of safety net programs? How should policymakers think about fiscal risks and opportunities created by the rapid and uncertain pace of technological change associated with AI? What budget policies may best position the United States to maximize AI's benefits while achieving fiscal sustainability? (For more details, go to https://www.crfb.org/jobs/ai-and-fiscal-policy-fellow).
This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to help shape an emerging field of public policy while contributing to the Committee’s mission of educating the public and policymakers about the nation's fiscal challenges and advancing responsible fiscal policy solutions.
