The AEA Executive Committee consists of the president, president-elect, two vice-presidents, the two most recent former presidents, six elected members, AEA journal editors, and the secretary-treasurer. All are interested in making contributions to the economics profession through their AEA leadership responsibilities, and many have come from, or move into, influential roles in government, industry, and academia.
